Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that material you posted was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. To be effective, a counter-notification must include the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice or their agent

Repeat Infringer Policy

We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.

Processing Timeline

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of your notice within 48 hours
  • Investigate the alleged infringement
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material if the notice is valid
  • Notify the user who posted the content, if applicable

We typically complete this process within 5-7 business days, though complex cases may take longer.

False Claims

Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability. We may seek damages from any party that submits a notification or counter-notification in bad faith.
